What is functional medicine?
Functional medicine is a systems biology–based approach that focuses on identifying and addressing the root cause of disease. It's a holistic, patient-centered, collaborative approach to healthcare that shifts the focus away from treating illnesses as they occur to preventing them from developing in the first place. The Functional Medicine approach deals directly with the underlying cause of a
health issue and treats each patient as a whole, unique individual, prioritizing lifestyle, nutritional,
and behavioral changes over pharmaceuticals.

As an ADAPT Certified Functional Health Coach, I am trained through the lens of functional medicine
and I support you to develop and optimize your foundations of health i.e. sleep, exercise, nutrition, stress management, relationships and any aspect of life that impacts your well-being.
As a coach, I don't push advice, supplements, nutrition plans or exercise regimens, but I can provide information, ideas and resources when requested. I provide guidance and support based on your self determined goals. I listen deeply, ask thought provoking questions and offer honest feedback and insights to help you move through your obstacles and reach your potential.

Ongoing Coaching
The nitty gritty of the
coaching process.
You set the focus and agenda for every session and we explore your change process and goal progress at your own pace. Sessions often include brainstorming, troubleshooting, strategizing and some powerful aha moments.
These 45 minute sessions are offered virtually or in-person for folks in the Vancouver/Portland metro.

Wellness Vision
Setting your wellness vision helps create a strong foundation for our work together.
We'll both walk away from this 90 minute session with a clear picture of what's driving your desire for change, what you truly want in your life, your core values and strengths and how those can support you.
You'll leave with tangible self determined goals and the intrinsic motivation to get the ball rolling.

Enjoy the added benefits of getting fresh air, exercise and the powerful stress deduction that nature connection offers. We'll meet at a park for this 60 minute
session and coach while we walk.
